AgriPal — Terms of Service
This is the current in-app version of our Terms. We'll notify you in-app if it changes and ask you to re-accept.
Version: 1.1 Effective: 3 August 2026 AgriPal is operated by Investment Collective Capital Pty Ltd (ABN 43 684 516 854) ("AgriPal", "we", "us").
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using AgriPal you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use AgriPal. You must be 18 or older. We may update these Terms; material changes will be shown in-app and continued use after re-acceptance constitutes agreement.
2. What AgriPal is — and is not
AgriPal is a farm record-keeping and information tool with community, marketplace and jobs noticeboards. AgriPal is not: an agronomist, veterinarian, accountant, tax agent, financial adviser, lawyer, employment agency, labour-hire provider, escrow service, payment guarantor, insurer, or a party to any transaction between users.
3. AI features — information, not advice
AgriPal includes AI features (chat, photo diagnosis, weed identification, label/receipt scanning, body-condition scoring, maintenance plans, market outlooks, crop advice).
- AI outputs are general information generated by a machine. They may be incorrect, incomplete or out of date. They are not professional advice and must not be treated as agronomic, veterinary, medical, chemical-use, financial, tax or legal advice.
- You must verify before acting. For chemicals, the registered product label and the APVMA permit are the law — always follow the label, not the app. For animal health, consult a veterinarian; for suspected emergency animal disease, call the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline (1800 675 888). For financial or tax decisions, consult your accountant.
- Scanned or auto-filled data (labels, receipts, serial plates, tag numbers) must be checked by you before you rely on it. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own records, including records kept for compliance (spray diaries, audit packs, NLIS, GST invoices).
- Fair use. AI, mapping and data features are subject to reasonable usage limits designed to prevent abuse and keep the service fast and affordable for everyone. Limits sit well above normal farm use and generally reset daily. "Unlimited" in our plan descriptions means unlimited ordinary farm use, subject to these fair-use limits.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on AI outputs.
4. Marketplace and Jobs board — we are a noticeboard only
The Marketplace (buying/selling goods and livestock) and the Jobs board (posting work and offering services) are venues where users connect. Every transaction, engagement, contract, payment and delivery is solely between the users involved.
- We are not a party to any sale, purchase, hire, engagement or contract formed between users, and we receive no commission on user-to-user deals.
- We do not vet, verify, endorse or guarantee any user, listing, worker, contractor, animal, product, price, qualification, licence (including chemical-use accreditations), insurance status, or the accuracy of any listing. A "verified farmer" badge indicates only that identity/farm evidence was reviewed at a point in time — it is not an endorsement or guarantee.
- You are responsible for your own checks: inspect goods and stock before purchase; verify PIC/NLIS status and comply with livestock traceability and biosecurity law when trading animals; check licences, insurance and references before engaging or performing work; use safe payment practices.
- Workers and contractors: engagements arranged through the Jobs board or Contractor Hub are direct arrangements between the parties. The parties are solely responsible for their own compliance with work health and safety, workers' compensation, superannuation, taxation, award/pay obligations, chemical-use licensing, and insurance. AgriPal provides no cover of any kind.
- No insurance, no escrow, no recovery service. We do not insure transactions, hold funds for user-to-user deals, or mediate or arbitrate disputes, and — to the maximum extent permitted by law — we are not liable for any loss arising from user-to-user dealings, including fraud, scams, non-payment, non-delivery, defective goods or stock, misrepresentation, personal injury or property damage.
- Report suspicious listings or conduct in-app. We may remove content or suspend accounts but are not obliged to monitor.
5. Invoicing, payments and financial records
- The invoicing tools generate documents from data you enter. You are responsible for their accuracy, including GST treatment, ABN details and tax-invoice compliance. AgriPal is not tax advice — confirm with your accountant.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe on the contractor/seller's own Stripe account; AgriPal never holds user funds and is not a party to the payment. Stripe's terms apply to Stripe services.
- Payment details shown on invoices (bank accounts, PayID, payment links) are entered by the invoicing user. Verify payment details directly with the other party before paying — we are not liable for losses from incorrect or fraudulent payment details.
6. Your data and records
- Your farm data belongs to you. You grant us a licence to host, process, back up and display it to operate the service (see Privacy Policy).
- Offline-first sync means data may be held on your device and synced later; you are responsible for keeping your device secure and your login confidential.
- We provide export tools; you are responsible for retaining records you are legally required to keep (chemical records, livestock movements, tax records) independently of the app where regulations require.
- Account deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Community content and conduct
You are responsible for what you post. No unlawful, misleading, defamatory, infringing, abusive or spam content; no listing of prohibited or restricted goods (including restricted chemicals) contrary to law; no misrepresenting qualifications. We may moderate, remove content, or suspend/terminate accounts for breach. Petition and forum content reflects its authors, not AgriPal. Reviews and ratings are user opinions about their own experience; AgriPal does not verify them and may remove reviews that appear false, misleading or unlawful.
8. Third-party data, services and availability
Weather (Bureau of Meteorology data via WillyWeather; Open-Meteo), market prices (ABARES), maps (Google), AI models (xAI Grok), payments (Stripe), and app stores each have their own terms. Data is provided "as available"; forecasts and prices are estimates — do not make safety-critical decisions on app data alone (e.g. spray-drift conditions: observe actual conditions on site).
Availability. We aim to keep AgriPal available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or always-on operation. AgriPal depends on the third-party services above and on hosting and connectivity providers; we may suspend or restrict access temporarily for maintenance, security or upgrades, and may modify, add or retire features. AgriPal is offline-first: your core records remain usable on your device without a connection and sync when connectivity returns. Nothing in this section affects your rights under Section 10.
9. Subscriptions
AgriPal Pro is billed through the app stores (or as otherwise stated) at the displayed price, with any free trial converting unless cancelled before it ends. Manage/cancel in your store account. Statutory refund rights are unaffected.
10. Liability
- Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Where we may lawfully limit our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee, it is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply (s 64A ACL).
- Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided "as is"; we exclude liability for indirect and consequential loss (including loss of profit, crops, stock or data); and our total aggregate liability is capped at the greater of the amounts you paid us in the previous 12 months and $100.
- You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, your transactions with other users, and your breach of law — except to the extent we caused the loss.
11. General
Suspension/termination for breach; survival of Sections 3–6, 10; severability; no assignment by you without consent; governing law New South Wales, Australia; disputes to NSW courts. Contact: support@agripal.com.au.
